Christmas in the Village is a festive celebration that highlights Manotick’s local businesses. Visitors can shop for unique holiday gifts, enjoy seasonal treats, and experience the village’s charm, all while supporting the community. The weekend kicks off with the Kiwanis Parade of Lights on Friday night, adding to the holiday magic. It’s a joyful way to celebrate the season and support local makers and shops.
Each year, The Shay Way kicks off this festive weekend by entering a float in the Kiwanis Parade of Lights. You can find us set up for the Christmas in the Village event at Manotick Garage, 5549 Manotick Main St. We spend the day talking to locals about what we do, handing out candy canes and collecting winter woolies for The Ottawa Mission.
