An unbelievable evening full of hope, connection and community impact.

The Food Services Training Program (FSTP) is an initiative offered by The Ottawa Mission that provides world class culinary training to those experiencing homelessness - creating a 90% job placement rate. Chef Ric's FSTP team prepared a gourmet culinary experience for this event, which was actually also the students final assignment. Following dinner, a graduation ceremony was hosted for all the students to walk across stage and obtain their certificates, with a proper standing ovation from 600 people. Lawrence Greenspon hosted a fierce live auction as well. This amazing social enterprise is entirely funded by the community. Over $300,000 was raised at this event to help fund this program and have it continue to change lives the way it has for the last 20+ years.
