I started my automotive apprenticeship at 17 years old at a small garage. With 10 years in the trade behind me, I have forged various pathways for my career in this industry. I practice my trade working at an independent shop preforming vehicle repairs. I teach Automotive Apprenticeship and Motive Power Technology at college, educating our upcoming tradespeople. I volunteer with various organizations that support blue collar workers and recruit & advocate for women in trades. In 2023, I founded The Shay Way, a non-profit organization in support of The Ottawa Mission, in loving memory of my dear friend and colleague, Michael Shay. I am unreasonably passionate about everything that I do.
